A Frivolous Young Woman

Spent Christmas and the ringing in of 2012 in Hong Kong! I’ve always wanted to go. I can finally check it off of my list :) Although I’ve realized as I become more well traveled I am less and less prepared when I go on vacation. This time was ridiculous because I didn’t even plan an itinerary or bring a travel guide haha. I managed to purchase one there though. Actually put my Chinese to use as well during dim sum even though pretty much everyone who lives there speaks English. It was weird going on vacation and not having to speak another language.. and then coming home to Korea and having to speak a different language more than I did on vacation! What a strange life sometimes.

Just had my 27th birthday. I always feel depressed that I’m getting older. I know it’s so silly cause I’m still in my 20s! Ridiculous, right? I’m gonna be a wreck when I’m 60 haha. My boyfriend got me a pair of Dr Martens (because he thought it was fitting since he’s british and I don’t have any boots here), an adapter for my macbook pro (since mine crapped itself), and this Tiffany’s bracelet. I love how I’ll be able to wear it everyday! It’s so cute and simple. They have different ones too so you can wear three at once and because they’re thin they look great together. I think I’ll be wanting to add more bracelets to this one :)

So I’ve been taking loads of pictures since my boyfriend visited me from England but I’m still in Toronto and forgot my damn cable to hook up my camera. LAME. I guess I’ll have to wait. I’m so tired. But shoe shopping is definitely on my to-do list while I’m in Toronto. I need to replace my everyday shoes… will it be etnies? converse? dr martens? who knows.
